The Hospice of Baton Rouge Sponsors Annual Trees of Light Memorial Service to honor past patients

Baton Rouge, La. (November 1, 2017) – The Hospice of Baton Rouge is hosting their Annual Trees of Light Memorial Service for families and friends to honor the memory of their loved ones’ on Sunday, November 19, at 4:00 p.m. in the Baton Rouge Garden Center, 7950 Independence Boulevard. The service will include music, readings, and grief support. The event is free and open to everyone.

“This memorial service is one small way we can give back and honor the memories of the individuals we had the opportunity to help,” said Catherine Schendel, CEO at The Hospice of Baton Rouge.

Guests are encouraged to bring a photograph of their loved one to display on the remembrance table. Flowers will be provided by The Hospice of Baton Rouge, but families are welcome to bring their own to add. Light refreshments will be served.
