Bereavement

You Are Not Alone In Your Grief

As a component of The Hospice of Baton Rouge's end-of-life care, we extend our Bereavement Support Program to our patients' families for 13 months after the patient's passing. This comprehensive service encompasses cards, letters, phone calls, visits, and participation in bereavement support groups.

Get The Support You Need

Get the support you need through one of our grief support groups - available to anyone in the community who has suffered the death of a loved one and is struggling with that loss. We have a variety of different groups throughout the Greater Baton Rouge and surrounding areas, offering different group styles, times, and locations.

Camp Conquer

Camp Conquer began as a private donation to provide children affected by the loss of their homes due to flooding with grief services. With additional donations and leveraging The Hospice of Baton Rouge’s network of volunteers, a five-day camp became a reality for children in Baton Rouge, La.
